Art coaching

We are based in Geneva and placed firmly in the area of creative thinking and Art portfolio preparation.

We aim to bridge the gap between High School education and the top Art universities.

We have experience with all ages from toddlers to the elderly but much of our work is with those in their late teens.

We design our programmes around the needs of the learner so feel free to contact us with any queries.

 

Photo-students

We're passionate about learning and want to share our enthusiasm, skills and knowledge through our creative and innovative courses.

Led by a team of highly-skilled coaches, we aim to :

  • inspire people of all ages to learn and have fun while they're doing it
  • build a community of learners who will share skills and knowledge with each other
  • prepare people for university entrance in Art & Design.

Summer Academy

Place: IPACDesign Rue du Grand-Pré 58 - 1202 Ge.

Dates: 5th - 18th August  (10 day programme)

Age range: 15/16
 
Coach: Stephen Preece (plus other professionals such as photographers or designers)
 
Cost: 1150CHF including all materials plus expert tuition by professionals in their fields, in design school premises here in the heart of Ge.

 

Objective:

Students need a break from school but they do not need a break from learning.
 
This is the very time that the young need to find out who they are, what they are best at and start developing strategies to service their needs and ambitions.

We have designed a Summer Academy which has creative thinking, drawing, painting, design and photography as major components of a rigorous 10 day programme.  n.b. this is a big step up from a regular Summer Camp. 
 
We will, however, request each participant to state their major areas of interest in art, design and communication.
 
This in order that we can tailor the programme to the groups needs. e.g. units on architecture or fashion could be easily introduced.
 
We aim to get each participant well on the way to developing a portfolio which will reflect their capacities.
 
We will broaden their understanding and knowledge base, along with developing their skill sets.
 
All this in a relaxed, creative and rigorous learning environment.
 
If your child or any friends are interested then contact us directly as there will be a maximum of 15 students. Places will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
 
The programme :
  • is specific to the students needs
  • will start to construct the bridge between school and university
  • will develop a portfolio
  • will show case the work produced
  • is local and therefore cheaper for parents
  • is delivered by practiced and creditable professionals.
Finally, the participants will be at home with family and friends in the evenings and weekends.
